Absolutely stunning - better than expected!

We visited Perge as part of a day trip from Antalya and were blown away. The stadium is incredibly well-preserved and you can really imagine the ancient games. Less crowded than Ephesus but equally impressive. The colonnaded street is a photographer's dream. Highly recommend going early morning for the best light.

A must-visit for history lovers

As an Italian, I've seen many Roman ruins, but Perge impressed me with its scale and preservation. The theatre offers panoramic views of the entire site. We spent 3 hours here and could have stayed longer. The small museum at the entrance provides good context. Bring water and wear comfortable shoes!

Fascinating site, needs better facilities

The ruins are extraordinary and the history is fascinating. The stadium alone is worth the visit. My only criticism is the lack of shade and limited refreshment options on hot days. There's a small cafe at the entrance but nothing inside the site. Still absolutely worth visiting - just come prepared!

Underrated gem of the Turkish Riviera

Turkish citizens get a great deal on entry, and this site deserves more attention. The agora and baths are remarkably intact. I recommend combining with Aspendos for a full day of ancient history. Our guide explained that many sculptures from here are now in Antalya Archaeological Museum - visit there too!
